A Wintery Day in Atlanta
We woke to a blanket of what looked to be snow. Of course, upon further inspection, we saw it was mostly ice. The trees are glistening and heavy with ice, the streets are impassable, and we were/are stuck inside. Masie is stir crazy and so am I. Heath has been chopping wood to keep the fire going. He knows how to make amazing fires....
I have so many things I want to do, but all of them are virtually impossible with my wild little girl following behind me yelling, "MA MA!!!!!!!"
I worked on my newest short story for a long time last night and am excited about workshopping it in my class in the next couple of weeks.
Let's see...what other item can I bore you with?? :) Oh tonight, we are having gorgonzola pasta with a light red sauce, garlic bread, and a spinach and tomato salad. Dressing? "Goddess" of course. People swear that they put something in that dressing. It is addicting and delicious. Haven't tried it? It is called Annie's Goddess salad dressing and you can find it in the healthy section on your local grocer.(This info. was for my mom!) And, no, I am not being paid for this advertisement!
I hope everyone is warm and safe....
Love,
Marie
