Update

I guess I have been posting a lot of pictures lately but not a lot of words. I am now in the fiction writing class at Georgia State, so every free moment I have (not many, mind you) is spent working on my short stories. I will probably post my newest one on this site by next week. Those of you who know me well will not be surprised by the characters or plot at all. :)

Masie had a nice birthday...macaroni and cheese (her favorite), lots of vanilla ice cream, and lots of playing at the park... wagon rides, sliding down the slide, swinging, sand box... Her perfect day! All day, I kept thinking about how our lives have changed so much since her birthday last year. I feel blessed, really blessed by her presence in my life. I think she is helped me to be a better, more complete person. The fun I have with her is simple and pure, uncluttered, and I appreciate this.
