Masie Update

Thanks so much to everyone for all of your calls, gifts, and food! All of the support has been wonderful.

I especially want to thank my mom and Heath's mom for their extended stays to help out. (and Frank "Pop Pop" and Dad and Kathy visiting) My sisters have been fabulous. Thanks for helping all day on Wednesday, Garland, and thanks Kat for the emergency delivery of sodas and all that baby holding! Also, my mother's group who keeps delivering us meals has been a God send!!! And Shannon who has brought meals TWICE. :) Heath even came home last night with a meal from the staff at his John's Creek office again. Delicious.

Masie is still sick, unfortunately, and we are trying to figure out what is going on with her. We have lots of doctor's appointments lined up to figure out why we cannot keep the sweet thing well. Her rash looks better than flares up again- She had the stomach flu (which she promptly shared with me), then three days later is burning up with a fever that no one can explain. Heath and I are worried and frustrated. We are hoping it is just a string of bad luck, but it has been going on a while- We start today with the pediatric dematology, then next week see two other docs. I think our normal pediatrician, Sally Marcus, whom we love, must cringe when she sees us on the schedule.

I will try and update this blog more regularly. I am just so tired between Baby Blythe and my sick toddler. Still, we are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends, and I am thankful for all of you.....
