Another day

All is well here. We have had some warmer days, and that has meant that we could escape the confines of this house and venture outdoors. Blythe and Masie are both doing well, and we feel blessed because of that in itself. I have started painting again; often with Blythe in one of my arms and Masie sleeping during a nap. Mostly oil pastels.... (no fumes) and abstracts (hard to be too detailed...

We went to the zoo today and had a lot of fun. I actually love going to the zoo. Masie ran off while I was breastfeeding, and I found myself chasing her with Blythe still attached. Luckily, I have been able to let go of vanity!!! :) no choice, I guess- Mostly other moms there anyway.

Masie just woke from her nap, so I need to run. My Uncle Alston just published a fabulous biography of my grandfather, Melvin Purvis, called The Vendetta. I am trying to read it whenever I can.
