February 2nd

A rainy day in Atlanta.... Everyone is fine here. Garland and Chris had their third anniversary last night; I think they went to the Horseradish Grill. Kat. found a very cool new apartment, still in Midtown. She is definitely the city type. I never see her in the 'burbs.

Masie had her one year appointment yesterday. We LOVE Dr. Sally Marcus. (just so you know, she is with Northside Pediatrics and is amazing!) Masie is in the 50% percentile for weight (21 lbs.) and the 100% percentile for height (31 1/2 inches.) Good grief she is tall! She is the height of a 2 year old. Tall and skinny... not too bad, I have told her.

Mom and Frank are coming into town on Friday, and we are excited to see them. I think we will have a nice dinner over here Friday night, and Saturday day, we are having Masie's little birthday party (which was iced out last weekend.) Elmo cake, vanilla ice cream, and mac and cheese are what she has requested. Saturday night we will head to Wisteria (one of our favorites) for a dinner celebrating Heath's birthday, which is on the 7th.

I turn in my first short story tonight at class. I have been working hours and hours on it! Anyone want to volunteer to be an editor?

Sorry for the disjointed narrative. I just felt like chatting, and Masie is ignoring me! :)
