Update, 12/6/05

Blythe has been apnea free for over 24 hours! They started s l o w l y weaning her from the high flow oxygen (CPAP) today, and so far, she has done well. We will be here several days for observation...

Masie had her ear tubes in today, and it was uneventful. Thank God! Bev (Heath's mom) stayed with Blythe while I ran over to be with Heath and Masie. We are hoping that all of this will be over soon, and life will get back to some semblance of normalcy. I have almost forgotten what that is any more. I have gotten to know many of the nurses, and the room in ICU has become familiar to me. Anyway, we are on the right track now, and I feel good that they are taking things so slowly now.

My mom and Frank are coming tomorrow night, and Bev has agreed to stay an extra day to help out some more. We are very grateful.

Anyway, I need to head back to the room. I hope you all are well, and keep your newborns away from anyone with a cold!!!!
