We arrived home today midafternoon. Masie was thrilled to see her sister, and I felt so happy to move back home after 16 days of ICU! Last night night, Heath stayed at the hospital because I had contractef the stomach bug... the hospital is full of bad germs- I am better today and feel such relief.

I had the pleasure of teaching at Woodward Academy's Middle School for a few years and am currently taking a hiatus to raise three children. I taught 7th and 8th grade English at Woodward Academy Middle school but also have taught at Emory at the graduate school level. I found that I much prefer middle and high school students! I am also a family nurse practitioner and a certified nurse-midwife, but my greatest love is in education! Nothing inspires me more than the true art of teaching. It combines knowledge, creativity, and a love and respect for students. I tutor all year long (English-literature/grammar/writing), history, science, French, study skills, test taking techniques, organization), offer exam reviews, and teach many workshops and classes during the summer.
